Bio

I work for advertising agency Tullo Marshall Warren as one of 2 information architects in their digital department

After 4 years at a small development agency following graduation in 2003, I decided to specialise in information architecture and have been working full-time as an IA for a year now.

Diverse roles in my first job enabled me to gain key understandings in areas such as project management, front- and back-end development, web design, account management and pitching; before I specialised in information architecture - which I had been doing occasionally.

Since becoming an IA full time I have worked as lead IA for VisitLondon.com for nearly a year and now work for advertising agency Tullo Marshall Warren as one of 2 information architects in their digital department.

About I draw boxes

I draw boxes is a blog by Chris Sainsbury about information architecture, interaction design and user experience design.

It's a forum for discussion on the best ways of planning and organising web sites and other digital products.

Often this planning process involves drawing boxes on bits of paper and annotating them to communicate ideas. Hence the name.
